Almost at the end of the first week of my stint at Tom’s Guide, and I’ve had three posts published so far. Tomorrow morning I turn in my first review, which I’m happy with, but want to wake up bright and early tomorrow to give one last big polish.
One of the best pieces of advice any writer was ever given was as follows:
Transmit clean copy.
I can’t say how much this week has exhilarated me, but it’s been unlike any that came before it.
Hell, last week had a great moment too, one I’ll write about here some day.
Tonight, after four days of working with these great people, I got to see Avengers: Age of Ultron with them. What’s interesting to me is thinking about the process of making that movie.
It’s commercial art, but when it’s achieved so successfully at such a large scale and degree of difficulty, you have to give it its due.
